Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM)

Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM) is an essential process for evaluating and analyzing the integrity of equipment or components. If a decrease in wall thickness due to corrosion is detected before failure occurs, it can help prevent major damage or accidents. Therefore, industrial plants regularly perform thickness measurements, especially on pressure-related components.
UTM is widely used because it is a fast, convenient, and versatile method. It works by transmitting high-frequency ultrasonic waves into the material. When the waves reach the back wall of the material, they reflect back, and the device calculates the travel time and converts it into a thickness value.
We provide ultrasonic thickness measurement services using modern equipment and a variety of probes, suitable for all types of inspection requirements.
